A tongue-tie must be made of leather, rubber or other synthetic material, where the flexibility of the material is restricted. A tongue-tie must have a minimum width of 15 mm, also during use, and it is important to ensure that the tongue-tie is just used for attachment at the lower jaw.
Tongue-tie is allowed in Germany except in 3 racetracks in the land of « Nordrhein-Westfalen » : Gelsenkirchen, Dinslaken and Mönchengladbach, in which Tongue-tie is forbidden.

– Boosters : Booster after recommended 6 month and maximum 12 month.
However the vaccine manufacturer’s specifications should be followed. The horse is allowed to race from the forth day after the 2nd vaccination.
Sanctions

The horse is not admitted to a race if incorrectly vaccinated. If vaccination certificate can´t be presented at the track (random control), the horse is not allowed to race on that event and banned from further racing until certificate is presented. To unban the horse 55 EUR has to be paid.
